Takata recall... I was hit from behind by a commercial trk doing 50 mph I was going 5 mph getting ready to make a left hand turn, when hit. No airbags deployed & the shoulder harness on the seat belt failed to lock. Resulting in concussion, serious back, neck & hip injuries.. two complete safety failiers when hit at 50+ mph. This is completely unacceptable. ## VIN failed ## Nissan Altima 2009 ##

On August 26, 2014 we pulled up a walmart and my grandson could not get out of his seat belt. The seat belt was getting tighter and tighter and was squeezing his stomach causing him to be in great pain. (I have pictures) a good samaritian came and tried to help and he stated that the seat belt had locked after trying for so long to get the belt to release my grand son began to cry he could no longer endure the pain to his stomach. The seat belt had caused his stomach to protrude you could see his ribs. We finally had to cut the seat belt to free my grandson.
