I bought Nissan Altima 2010 at the Pittsburgh East Nissan and I dropped my iPod under the lid of the middle section and I can’t get it out. When I went to the dealership they told me that it would cost $90 to get it out, because they will have to take whole middle section a part and it will take them about an hour to do. They also said that it’s a common problem. They’ve already had a lot of people with the same problem whose phones fall in there. So my question is why I have to pay $90 if it’s something that Nissan’s engineers had to think of when they were designing this car. It should’ve been designed so it’s easy to get something from there by simply unscrewing the lid. Please help me out. I need to get my IPod back, but I don’t have $90 to spend on this.
