Frontier

  • 76,000 miles
The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated that while driving 25 mph the fuel gauge displayed an inaccurate level amount of gasoline. The fuel gauge displayed empty while the fuel tank was full and displayed full when the fuel tank was empty. The contact stated that there was a related recall for the fuel level sensor for the 2006 and 2008 models but not the 2007. The manufacturer stated that since the vehicle was not a part of the recall they would not repair the vehicle at no charge. The contact stated that the manufacturer should extend the recall to include his year, make and model vehicle. The failure mileage was 76,000. Updated 12/22/10
