problem #1

Frontier SV 4.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 38,000 miles

My son and two grandchildren were going down the highway in a 38000 mile truck and it just started bucking and would hardly go. They were extremely lucky there was no accident because of the instant problem with the running of the truck. I had to tow it to my home, then to two shops to try and find out what the problem was. The second shop said the main ECM went out but unable to fix it and it will have to go to a Nissan dealership and cost a large sum of money unless there is a recall on this pos.

There is another truck, local, the same year model as this one, and the same thing happened to it. I did a little research on the net and there are other instances of the same thing happening to people in low mile Nissan Frontier trucks this year model. As soon as this pos is running, it is going to be sold. Nissan, you should be ashamed of yourself.
