Juke LS 3.2L

  • Manual transmission
  • 154,000 miles

this was the first almost new car i bought, its a 2012 Nissan Juke. i bought it in 2013. on Oct 8th i was driving home from my daughter's house in the rain , and the car shut off, no warning, no indications that anything was wrong. my son in law called a tow service to take it to a dealership. next day they called to tell me the timing chain had broke and i need to replace the motor, the amount he quoted me was $7,000. is this a manufacturer problem? and i'd like to know who to call about the problem. Heck i still owe 5K.

Juke SL Turbo Charger

  • Automatic transmission
  • 92,000 miles

Turbo charger separated from engine, caused catastrophic damage. Extended warranty company is denying the damage although fully under warranty specifics. Still fighting with them. This is a major issue and was advised by service techs he has seen 3 other Jukes in the last few months with the same issue. This is not a problem that should be occurring in a 2012 with less than 100,000 miles. No engine warning light came on. I heard a whistle sound then pop and felt the car jolt then was unable to accelerate.
