problem #1

Juke 1.6L St Cvt

  • CVT transmission

I have actually bought this car second hand from a private individual. This person was the first owner of the car and the mileage then of the car was less than 43,000. I have also checked with their previous sevice centre and there was no mention of any transmission problem. I have also had it checked after I bought the car and there was no mention of any major problem with it. So I seemed to have unfortunately inherited this stupid problem. I have only use this mainly to go to work which was only 40kms both ways (20kms going to and 20kms coming from). I do use it on weekends but mainly to go and shop to the groceries. The farthest it has travelled was a 150km out of town trip but that was just a one off thing.

This is just my second car in my entire life and this one is really a nightmare. With the cost given to me by my mechanic, I felt deep regret on buying this one s* piece of junk. But I have no such alternative but to go ahead with the repair as I will lose a lot if I sell it with this problem. And for sure nobody will ever want to buy a defective car. Nissan Juke will definitely be out of my list when I go and shop around for a replacement later on. The design is good except for the limited leg room, but what’s under the bonnet really sucks.
