The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Juke. The contact stated upon starting the vehicle, a fuel odor was detected in the vehicle. The contact stated that no warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for diagnosis or repairs. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and was advised to reach out to the local dealer to get the vehicle diagnosed. The contact researched the vehicle year, make, and model online and linked the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 14V683000 (fuel system, gasoline) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was 149,500.
