Juke SV AWD 1.6L

  • CVT transmission
  • 1,553 miles

Thought it was a water pump going so I take it to dealer. Official notes they say it's fine. Tech takes a drive with me and he explains how they use to replace the fuel pumps and the noise comes back 1000km later on all the jukes. This is not an acceptable answer. Constant scraping Bearing sounds means someday ( I expect soon) I'll be calling for a tow because the dealer don't want to replace the part basically because they will just go bad again. This might also explain 2 occasions where I used the push button start to have the car do nothing. The starter times out after about 5 seconds. It started after each time however I guess half assed product is ok by Nissan standards.

-- that an awesome way to build confidence in your product by the way Nissan!! I'm only 4 months Into owning it and you failed your first commitment to backing your product warranty. That's a very special kind of SUCK!--

After researching further I see tons of other complaints from other juke owners and new recalls on the rogue fuel pump for what I expect may be the same is happening. Juke may not get enough attention due to being a less popular vechicle.

If the pump sucks that bad recall it already!
