My daughter just got her brakes looked at and the mechanic tells us your brakes are fine. First off, the car is squealing like brakes do when they need changing, so we did the right thing take it to the shop to get the brakes done...Nope, they said all is good and she would be throwing away half a brake pad if they changed them. So we are not happy but I am thinking he has been our mechanic for years and not had a problem.

Couple days pass, the ABS brake light comes on. I call and he says, oh, it could just be a ghost signal.....The next morning it sounds like she is driving a lawnmower and then the damn thing died and we are now waiting to take it to the shop in the morning. Maxima is a good car????? So far it has been a pain in the ass!!
