Maxima SV 3.5L

  • 55,225 miles

This is my second Nissan vehicle to have a problem with fairly low miles. First was a 2008 Altima 2.5SL, had a high pitched noise coming from the front end, turned out to be the tranny.. Surprisingly enough, Nissan covered the entire cost of putting in a brand new 2013 transmission. All of this happening with only 68000 miles mind you. Car ran great after that... for the additional 10000miles I put on it before trading it in on the 2010 Maxima SV I have now.

So now, here I am having a very similar problem with this car, again with only 55000 miles on it.... Losing faith in Nissan vehicles at this point. I will repost when I find out more... very, very, very, f-ing annoying.

Update from Oct 25, 2014: Had the car brought to a dealership and the noise was supposedly a wheel bearing. Noise has seem to gone away so here is hoping that was the issue. If anyone else experiences this that would probably be my first direction in resolving the issue.
