problem #3

Murano 6-cyl

  • 68,000 miles
The driver's side sun visor is defective and drops down in driver's line of sight. No ready fix and replacement of the defective part is over $200. This is a safety issue as the visor will obscure vision and could lead to a crash.

Murano 6-cyl

  • 60,000 miles
Both driver and passenger side visors will randomly fall from the up position and obstruct view. When driving car, this blocks the view of the driver. The sun visors are both defective, there is no position that the visors will stay other than straight down - blocking view. If the car goes over a bump, the visor will drop down. Why even install a sun visor if it does not block the sun?

Murano 6-cyl

Sun visor randomly drops down from headliner obstructing driver's view. Nissan will not repair the problem at no cost if the vehicle is out of warranty. This is a safety issue and Nissan should repair this defect regardless of year or mileage. This is an expensive service at the dealerships, preventing certain owners from having the visor properly replaced/repaired. Very dangerous.
