Murano S AWD 362L V6

I replaced rotors brakes and couple calipers over time. I have to listen to wife walk into house and tell me what else is wrong.

problem #1

Murano SL 3.5L

  • CVT transmission
  • 40,000 miles

The list of problems with this car are numerous. I know that I didn't just buy a lemon. My daughter has a 2005 and the problems are exactly the same on her model. Sad to say that Nissan is a company that won't stand behind their vehicles at all. 1-Locked up back caliper rear 2-Vehicle eats rotors 3-Power steering line on all models needed replaced. 4-Sun Visors become weak and just flop down win you hit a bump.(dangerous) 5-Sounds like struts and shocks are busted (worst riding vehicle I've ever owned), don't replace, it doesn't help 6-Driver power window motor broke-replaced it -10 months later broke again (still broke) 7-Motor mount broke (still broke) 8-Both front leather seats have splits and large cracks all over them. 9-Bose radio turns off and on intermittently. 10-Front wheel bearings replaced at 45k 11-Car alignment once a year, rotate tires every 3000k still have to put tires on every 18 months or 18k I have tried all brands of tires, Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear, Dunlop, now I am buying the cheapest I can find. The vehicle causes cupping which sounds like roaring and thumping. 12-Gas mileage--have never gotten over 17 mpg highway Since we purchased this junker years ago we have not abused it at all. If you are thinking of buying one of these vehicles (PLEASE DO LOTS OF RESEARCH) you will find that the problems I have experienced are common on all these vehicles. If you insist on getting a Murano keep lots of money in savings for your repair bills.
