When I stop my vehicle at an intersection and then walk away around the corner, a metallic clatter sounds. Noise is present no matter if I turn right or left. Noise is present only when it is very cold, about -10 degrees Celcius (14 farenheit) or colder still. After riding with my car a few killometers, the noise disappears until the vehicle cools down after a few hours.
My dealer has repeatedly examined my vehicle for noise that is intermittent depending on the temperature and has not been able to find the cause of the problem. The problem is now referred to Nissan Canada which does not seem to be able to find the problem either. Another member of my family had the same problem and eventually changed his Murano for a Pathfinder.
We can hear the sound from the inside and outside, which is worst.
