Navara SE 2.5L (Yd25ddti)

  • Automatic transmission

When I drove my brand new car car from the dealer for the very first time, I noticed that there was an unusual vibration from the vehicle at speeds between 80-110km/h. This vibration/shudder was in the form of a rocking motion of the entire car. It was not the more common vibration of the steering wheel. I decided to test the car further and confirmed that there was indeed a vibration. reported to the dealer and they did the following but it did not help. 1. The tyres and rims were swapped with another set from another similar model car. After doing this, the vibration was still there. So the tyres and rims were eliminated as a possible cause of vibration. 2. The rear propeller shaft (long shaft) was swapped from another new car. When my car was tested, the vibration was still there. A second long shaft was taken from another new vehicle and put into my car. The vibration is still there but slightly reduced. The vibration or shudder now occurs at 80 km/h and 110 km/h when you apply light pressure on the throttle pedal. Vibration goes away below and above those speeds. Have made an official complaint to the local dealer. They are yet to respond. Is anyone else facing a similar problem. dealer claims that I am the first to make a complain. My car uses the 7 speed Jatco automatic transmission JR710e. anand
