Pathfinder S 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 86,500 miles

I had noticed the oil pressure gauge was pegged out; dealer pointed it out and said that the diaphragm fails and oil gets on the back side where the strain gauge is causing the fault. The gauge was replaced while I was there getting brake work.

Pathfinder LE V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 111,000 miles

I hate this car! It is not worth it. Stupid Oil Pressure Switch failed causing oil gauge to constantly read at high. Had fixed for $225. Still waiting for my radiator to leak into the transmission, which Nissan has warned me WILL happen even though they wont issue a recall or do anything to prevent it from happening. As soon as it gets out of the shop for the wheel falling off I am trading this deathtrap for something safe and GERMAN!
