Falco v. Nissan is covering through 2007 but my car has a model year of 2008, despite having been manufactured in February of 2007. The tensioner cost $1,581 for me to fix and should be part of the dang settlement.

2008 Nissan Pathfinder V6 - Timing chain needs replacing there is a recall for this problem for the same year and make of vehicle however they say only if you purchased it in Ca or Wa. How can they be so sure that it only effected those vehicles and I don’t know where mine was first purchased, I bought it used. I don’t think it’s right that since they know that there is a specific problem with the specific part on the specific vehicle and specific year, why don’t all of us that have that specific problem, why are we not included in the recall ?
