Pathfinder V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 188,000 miles

The car died multiple times while driving it, and it would happen randomly. Lucky for me that I was able to coast to get off the road without getting hit as I was going slow enough in town. I would have been killed on the freeway where there is construction and no where to go. When it dies, it will also give the slip light as well, as somehow I am wondering if this is some computer issue. The mechanic looked over my car and could not find the issue as we did change the spark plugs and checked sensors. When it died, it was hard to steer as well. Completely random as it did so. Terrifying and caused me great anxiety.

Pathfinder LE 4.0L

This is the worst god awful vehicle I have ever owned! Will never purchase another Nissan/Nissan pathfinder in my entire life. Now its turning off while running and VDC/ slip lights turn on afterwards. The other day I was driving on the expressway with my four children doing 65, with busy traffic, and the damn thing turns off! I put it on neutral and turned it back on but can only imagine it would have been deadly for any person who does not know how to do this. I asked my wife if she knew what to do in case this happened to her but she had no idea you could put a vehicle in neutral with the engine off while its moving and turn it back on to avoid coming to a complete stop. This is a blatant disregard for human life on behalf of Nissan. God forbid anything tragic happens to my family, but if does, I will definitely file a lawsuit against Nissan.
