Qashqai E6 1.2L Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,592 miles

Dear Sir or Madam:

I bought a Brand New Nissan Qashqai 2017 vehicle 1.2 turbo Benzin Automatic E6. Engine number 359950A Chasse # SJNFEAJ11U1833044 CL-Z11 last year (May 2017).

The car was convenient and up to my expectations. However, it was a surprise to wake up one morning with the engine not starting, in February, I could only run the engine through cables for a whole week. I have to say it was a shocking realization that the car is not running except through wires. The company checked it and changed the battery, and things were fine.

I do understand that things happen, and the car was excellent until last week (May 4th), when I was running the engine in the morning, and the engine did not start. The cables did not help in starting the car. I had to tow it now to the company again.

I am a working woman with the responsibility of four children as a single mother, so you can only imagine that choosing a car as such, was related to making life more comfortable, or to the least less troublesome.

Among all the running I need to do, the last thing I wanted to get into is the trouble of having issues going to work and dropping the kids to their schools. My life and the kids have been paralyzed and dysfunctional for the last week.

You know people buy new cars, and trust companies like Nissan to enjoy to the least the properties the vehicles provide in your advertisement. It sounded ridiculous and embarrassing that the new Nissan Qashqai is not working.

I felt that I had to defend the car in a way … but then … after all this trouble, I do question the reliability of the car. I am worried to drive it, and I don’t know when is the next time it will give me a bad start to my day or a horrible end after a tiring working day. I sent the car this morning 11.5 to the company in Jerusalem (ha Uman street #21), after a few days of trying to reach the offices of Nissan helplessly, and by the time I got an answer, I found myself towing it on my own.

I don’t know what should be done; I am not sure what the problem is, I expect that there should be no problem in a car with the name of a Nissan. I don’t want to enter into a cliché conversation of accusations and dissatisfaction, but I am perturbed about the consequences of this car.

The car failed me with the fundamental and primary reason for buying it: no hassle and worries of disorder or malfunctioning for a few years at least, and with a Nissan, I expected a long companionship for many more years.

I do understand that the advertisements are not exactly what we live through as customers, but yet, we do trust the company when we choose a car. The car becomes part of our family; it becomes family. Choosing it, bringing it to become part of our life and family is a costly and time and energy consuming decision.

I expect that you check the problem of this car seriously, and I do also hope assurances from your side, that this car is a safe companion, which I am doubting. I'm looking forward hearing from you

Yours Sincerely,

Nadia Harhash
