This vehicle has numerous problems beginning with the brakes having to be changed multiple times; one occasion while driving on the expressway my passenger sliding door opened up resulting in me having to pull to the side of the road and close the door. When I first purchased the vehicle I would get in and start the car, the windshield wipers would go, the horn would blow and and the doors would lock; there was a terrible banging sound coming from what appeared to be the rear of the vehicle, but after 3 stops in the shop was identified as a bolt being loose in the stearing column, my gas pedal sticks and will all of a sudden release causing the vehicle to lunge forward; the rear bulbs all blew out in the rear of the van and melted the encasing surrounding the bulbs; during a rain storm the windows where in the down position and would not go up; the vehicle had to go into the dealer for them to pull them up; when you attempt to lock the doors the locks make a sound as if they are attempting to lock or unlock but do not, it takes several attempts to unlock the door whether inside or outside of the vehicle...ultimately this vehicle has been a sincere disappointment that needs to be returned to the dealer, however my dealer has gone out of business and the new dealer will not take the vehicle back because it is not their responsibility. I have contacted Nissan about the vehicle but Nissan's response is to return the vehicle to the dealer for service. Nissan is not paying for a loaner car and I can't continue to take time from work to babysit a vehicle more than my children...this will be the last Nissan I own. I almost don't want to get rid of it because I don't want another unsuspected individual to purchase this nightmare on wheels

This vehicle has displayed numerous brake changes over the course of the year. To have to change the brakes 4 or more times over the course of two yeas is rediculous and needs to be evaluated on a wider scale.

Brakes did not work properly. When consumer first purchased vehicle he had problems. Consuemr took vehicle back to dealer to get it fixed. And then 14,000 miles later, brakes went out. Dealer did not have a remedy. Complete brake job was done twice at 14000 miles interval. The brakes on this vehicle were not properly designed. The consumer was concerned about the safety as well as the expenses.

When applying brakes vehicle does not stop. Dealership is aware of problem. The vehicle had only 15,000 miles, but the brake system had a serious problem. The dealer says the vehicle is okay, but another mechanic says that the vehicle needs wheel cylinder.

I started having problems with the brakes and the air conditioner around the same time frame give or take a few weeks. The brakes started making a grinding noise when it was about two months old. I took it to the dealer the said they did a complete brake job on it. Since then it has been back to the dealer 5 other times due to brake noises that are still not repaired. My van also vibrates at speedso F 60 miles or faster, also it has had 3 front end alignments in less then six months. Then with my air conditioner they say the noise was normal that it was suppose to sound like it was going to fall out in the driveway when I turned it on, and when Nissan came out with a fix they would contact me. To this day they have not even looked at the air conditioner other then to check the belts on it. Both my brake and my air conditioner are still making noises. I have two friends that own Nissan vans and there vans do not have these problems.
