Quest S

  • CVT transmission
  • 157,000 miles

The CVT transmission went out without any warning. Said it would have cost $3500 to fix, I had already put over $3000 into the car in the last year and this was more than the car is worth at this point so I did not fix the issue and replaced the car.

Quest V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 91,000 miles

The van would jerk into second gear after it reached operating temp. Engine light came on several times. Had to cut it off for it to cool, Then one day I am driving and i press the accelerator and the engine races and i'm not going anywhere. This was about 60 miles from where i live. Needless to say, the van is in the shop with needing the transmission to be rebuilt. About a 3,600 job. I'm livid because i know Nissan is at fault. They used a cheap part that should not have been used and so when the vehicle reaches operating temp. it apparently contorts the part and the van doesn't shift properly. The vehicle has less than 92,000 miles. with regular maintenance and tune-up.

Now i'm' reading about a lawsuit pertaining the timing chain tensors on the same model i have 2007 Quest.. Nice engine, fast - when everything was working.

Quest S V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 150,000 miles

I have nothing but problems with this van since I got it in 2011. transmission, front end etc.. I have practically rebuilt the whole van and now the transmission goes. Nissan is such a lemon.. bought a 2014 nissan versa note and only had a couple of months. This was bought brand new and have had the car in the shop several times. I thought Nissan was a good make..

Quest SE 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 178,000 miles

The transmission slips, bucks, has a sluggish response and also dies out of nowhere! When this happens I have zero steering or braking ability - it's a miracle I haven't gotten into a wreck!

Quest 06

  • Automatic transmission
  • 136,000 miles

LAST TIME I HAVE A RECALL FOR THE GAS GAUGE ,THEY SEND ME LETTER STATING THAT THEY WILL CALL ME WHEN THE GET THE PARTS. THEY DIDN'T, SO I CALL AFTER SO MANY TIMES RUNNING OUT OF GAS ON THE HIGHWAY ONLY TO HEAR THEY TOLD ME I DON'T HAVE A RECALL. ABOUT COUPLE MONTHS LATER I GOT A SECOND RECALL. I BRING IT, THEY FIX IT AND NOW THIS. I REALIZE THERE ARE LOTS OF CARS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM

Quest 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,369 miles

My 07 Nissan Quest sat in our driveway for the last 6 months we had to make payments, all because of a issue that Nissan knows about but won't fix. I later found out there is/was a active lawsuit against them over the faulty transmission. And of course it was past the warranty coverage how convenient for Nissan.
