on may 30, 2013 my 2012 Nissan quest randomly accelerated while pulling into a parking space at my doctor's office. it jumped the curb and hit a tree, pole and another vehicle. there was over $5000 worth of damage plus $700 worth of damage to other vehicle. I received a careless driving ticket becuse police took statement from person whose car i hit who was not even a witness. He was sitting in the doctors office. he told the police I was driving recklessly. none the less, the car was towed to Cherry Hill Nissan. after 5 days they told me the diagnostic was fine and there was nothing wrong with car. I asked them if it was to drive and they said "yes". they charged me $122 for the diagnosti, towing fees and loaner car fees. it was towed to a body shop and damages repaired. two weeks later I picked up the car. in the meanwhile I had to appear in court for the ticket. I was advised by an attorney to plead guilty to the charges because I had no evidence that the car was defective. I had to pay $410 in court fees and but no .points. it was so humiliating to appear in municipal court and plead guilty when i knew i was not guilty.

the story gets better, I left municipal court around 3pm and traveled about 1 mile to pick up my son from camp. I parked my car for less than 5 mins. as we were leaving the parking lot the car randomly accelerated for the 2nd time almost resulting in a head on collision. my son and I were almost killed. it has been a nightmare since then. Nissan Corporation and Nissan Cherry Hill are doing nothing to help me.They do not care that the car is unsafe and could result in Death and Disability of either myself, my family or others on the road. They want me to take the car back which i refuse to do. I have terrible fear. I just want a replacement vehicle and they won't give it to me. I have been driving Nissan's for 30 years and will buy or lease another one
