I have nothing to say to this reporting safety hotline, they have over over a thousand complaints surrounding Nissan Rogues and they still refuse to investigate. It's absurd that the safety administration, believe these problems minute. My transmission was also defective, we literally rolled backward while trying to drive up a hill on the Northway while accelerating my vehicle @ 70 mphs, my car instead decelerated. Although Nissan offered an extended warranty on my vehicle , they refused to fix only sealing the transmission. the vehicle continued to show symptoms of a failed transmission, on site Nissan consumer hotline is a joke and denied me a transmission, although they extended the warranty for the CVT .
