The driver door on the Nissan rogue will not open from the outside. I have to go in thru the passenger side and crawl in to the drivers seat. I had this same problem in Jan of this year and had it fixed at the cost

of over 300 dollars. Now the problem is back...I have looked up this problem and Nissan is aware

that the doors in the rogue have this problem and they have failed to recall the car.

NISSAN...STEP UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING....FIX THE CARS PROBLEMS THAT YOU ARE

AWARE OF. I AM NOT HAPPY THE SERVICE FROM NISSAN AS THIS IS JUST ONE OF THE PROBLEMS MY NISSAN HAS....PROBLEMS THAT NISSAN ARE AWARE OF ...PROBLEMS THAT ARE COMMON TO THE NISSAN ROGUE AND NISSAN IS FAILING TO STEP UP AND RECALL THE CARS AND FIX THE PROBLEMS.

SHAME ON YOU NISSAN !!!!!!!

It's very hard to get into the car from the back. When raining I get soaked before I get in the blasted car. Plus I work late at night and as a woman fumbling to open the car from the back is a big problem. I need help. This is a manufacturer problem and I don't think I should pay $452.00 just to fix the door. It is not my fault they have faulty latch.

Rogue SL 2.5L

Last year my passenger door stopped opening from the outside. Took it to Nissan dealer and they charged me $170 just for taking off door panel and diagnosing the problem. Said it was broken cable and that it would cost another 300 to fix. I told them to go kick rocks as I could live with opening that door from the inside. This week the driver side door stopped working so looks like I'll have to bite the bullet. But based on all these forums, that is a widely known problem and I'm annoyed that they charged me the 170 to diagnose the problem when they likely knew damn well what the problem was without having to do $170 dollars worth of labor to take door apart. Also sounds like may just be unattached cable and not necessarily broken. Also seems there was a recall for some people but not me and I wonder why mine wouldn't qualify for the fix. Either way I feel like the Nissan and the dealership are screwing me. Now I'll have to go find some back-alley hack of a mechanic who thinks he might be able to fix it for less than the ransom the dealership is asking. It's always something with these Nissans. Will be looking elsewhere with my next car purchase.

Very annoying to have to reach from drivers side in order to open passenger side of door. Very expensive to find the problem. Door panel has to be taken off.

This is truly a shame that Nissan does not care about their customers. It is a real pain to have to open the back door, reach over and open the front doors because they are defective. This situation has caused me to not purchase or lease any other Nissan cars. I have several past leases and this car I purchased. A recall is needed to correct the manufacturer's defective doors.

Door locks, latches, handles were previously worked on due to a recall. Driver's side door latch failed during the winter months, but Nissan wanted $350 to repair something that has already been recalled once before. Really!! Fix it right Nissan!

Both of my front doors are unable to be opened from the outside!! We have to crawl in the back door and reach up front to open the doors from the inside. Locked myself out of the car several times because of this problem and left car running until locksmith got there!!!

This problem first happened to the passenger door, which wasn't that big of a deal, then it just happened to my driver's door which is a big FAT deal. I can only open my doors from the inside having to get in through the back doors and reaching over. Big pain. Do not want to have to pay hundreds of dollars for this.
