I contacted Nissan July 2018 and was told there were no reports of the issue I was having... Unfortunately what I've experienced seems to be common. I occasionally work as a self employed artist and on long trips my Rogue will refuse to speed up. It doesn't matter how hard I press the gas pedal. It's like something isn't connecting. Nissan said they couldn't find any reports of this happening but I see many complaints. The suv refuses to go over 20mph, sometimes even lower. This issue has put my life at risk many times and I'm wondering what it will take for something to change!? It happened going uphill multiple times and seems to happen when traffic is at a stop and go. The only recall issue I saw had to do with snow and salt getting in somewhere. This seems to happen when it's warmer outside.

Recall -harness connector (torque converted solenoid circuit intermittent) previous recall wasn't completed properly as I continue to experience intermittent erratic behavior of the power train and related circuitry, two weeks after the manufacturer said they fixed the harness connector inspect and replace recall (Rogue connect) that was place on the car. The car jerks uncontrollably when driving at high speed on the highway or hesitates at stop then takes off suddenly at high speed. I like for the manufacturer to look into this and properly address this recall by fixing this issue with this vehicle they built which I still current drive. A diagnostic scan was done at autozone and I was told the torque converter solenoid circuits are intermittent and that it's due to a damaged transmission wiring harness that is either loose or open circuit in the system and may cause a fire.

My air bag light continues to blink indicating something wrong with my passenger side air bag. I was told that due to this problem, the passenger seat needed to be replaced. An expensive repair. Recall reference #ntb08-095C specifically addresses this problem. However, my vehicle was is included in the recall. I feel that my Nissan Rogue 2009 ( produced in Jan 2009) and the air bag manufactured by takata, should be included in the recall and repaired. This is a problem, with numerous people also posting about it. Thanks in advance for your attention to this matter.

After a very cold day in Tennessee, the front drivers side and passengers side doors in my Nissan Rogue would no longer open from the outside. After visiting the Nissan dealership, I was told that this was not a safety issue and that the bracket and the cable actuator in both doors had gone bad and that the cost for the repair would be over $1,000. The fact that this is not considered a safety hazard and that Nissan is not standing behind its product is appalling. While there has not been an accident yet, this malfunction could be the difference between an emergency responder (or helpful citizen) being able to get to someone following an accident or vehicle fire. Not only is this a huge safety hazard for this reason, it also presents personal safety issues with trying to climb into the back of the vehicle to open the vehicle?S front door. This creates opportunities for robbery and abduction. Nissan has failed to stand behind its product by not providing to its customers a voluntary recall to replace, at their cost, the parts which are causing the safety hazard.

One day, there were no issues with the vehicle. The following day, when attempting to drive, the car exhibited extremely poor acceleration from a stop (I.e. starting a car in 4th gear). The car would very slowly accelerate to ~25mph, then begin to perform better. Clearing an intersection from a stopped position took up to 5-10S longer than it should have. Also determined that the car no longer had functioning break lights. Car was not safely usable. Seems to be a very common issue with this model, based on internet searches. The dealer claimed initially to have no knowledge at all of this issue. Dealer replaced brake pedal switch and problem was resolved. Repair was not done under warranty, but was done under my extended warranty, so I still had to pay to have this known, safety critical issue repaired.

Driver and front passenger doors fail to open from the outside of the vehicle. I have to open back passenger door and manually engage the driver door lock from the inside. Took car to dealer and dealer stated that the charge to fix both doors would be $650. I do not understand how this can not be a safety issue that should be addressed by Nissan and our government. I guess when it comes time to purchase another vehicle I will not visit a Nissan nor infinity dealership. Nissan should be ashamed!
