Rogue

  • CVT transmission
  • 104,000 miles

At around 50,000 or 60,0000 miles I was driving down the Hwy and all the sudden I started slowing down. I pushed the pedal all the way to the floor and it wouldn't speed up. I even tired patting the gas and that helped me keep my current speed however when I got to the mountain I had to climb it with my flashers on to keep from getting ran over at 20 miles an hour. This scared me to death. As I downed the mountain and let of the gas completely till the bottom it started acting normal. The next day I had the transmission fluid changed. I thought everything was fine until the other day it did it again as I left my house in the morning off and on it wouldn't speed up. I pressed the gas all the way to the floor and the RPM's would raise above the 3 however I would barely speed up. When I reached the freeway i reached a certain speed and maintained it however when I tried to speed up the RPM's would go up however the car wouldn't go any faster. I took it to Nissan of Cool Springs and the technician told me that the transmission fluid was burnt and my transmission needed replaced. I called Nissan and they said it's not under warranty. I'm hating my life right now. i have a $400 per month car payment and a piece of sh*t car and Nissan will not fix their mistake. I wish I had NEVER bought this car. I will NEVER buy another Nissan if they do not fix this.
