problem #2

Rogue SL

  • CVT transmission
  • 17,000 miles

The radio in the car has had numerous problems. First, sometime it does not shut off at all even when car is off and you leave it. Second sometimes as you drive it randomly shots down and then deactivates the blindspot warning and front impact. Third, sometimes the unit powers on and has no sound and the touch screen does not work. Dealer says they have to "reproduce" the problem to cover it. Brought car in, dealer verified the issue and then rebooted the system. Corrected issue. A month later same issue. Dealer to provide a new radio but had to fight for it since nissan wanted more documentation of recurrent. Still under full factory warranty.

This has happened 3 times in the last week. I searched and many Nissan Rogues owners have had this issue and no can find out what the problem is. My car has less than 6k mile and this is the third major issue with it. Nissan cars are crap - this is my third one and I'm not happy with it in the least!
