A leak popped up in the interior of my 2015 Rogue about a year ago. It popped up again in July 2019. Both leaks were located in my "A-bar" (I'm not vehicle-literate, so I'll take the dealership rep's word). He explained to me that this may occur because dirt and debris may clog the A-bar drain. He said, oh yeah, this happens. As if it were common? I called Nissan's 800# prior to my recent visit to the dealership to resolve the leak issue. I told the Nissan rep that this leak should not occur, a new vehicle should not come with defects (wishful thinking, I get it).

Be it a design flaw or a problem during production. I've owned several cars (with sunroofs) and none of them have ever leaked. Not one. I mentioned the sunroof, but based on what was explained to me, it isn't a sunroof issue. The dealership cleaned out the drain as best they could and shortened a lip at the end of the drain line. Hopefully, this will resolve the issue. I wasn't happy with the Nissan rep. Basically, unless there is a recall on the issue, there's nothing more they can do for me. It just seemed like a lot of time wasted on the phone with them, when they could have told me from the start that the warranty would not cover the defect. A big fat pffft to Nissan. Thank you for letting me rant. That is all.
