Rogue

  • 94,345 miles
I purchase a 2016 Nissan Rogue on July 27,2019. On August 20 I took car back to dealership and stated that the car have vibration, click sound, the hood was like it was going pop up if I went more than 65mph and was like you had give a lot gas for it to go. The say they check out and nothing was wrong. One day I was driving down and had to push petal all way down and the car was still only going about 20 mph but the RPM was at like 5. was sacred feeling took car back to dealership and they say nothing was wrong. Then on Jan 1,2020 coming down 95 southbound and my whole dash bored lights came on. I believe it was every single warning light came on. Was told that my ABS was bad and it was going cost around 3800 to be replaced. My car stayed at Nissan dealership for over 2 months. Once I receive my car back still complain about the vibration and hood. Again was told since it's no check engine light there's no problem. On July 17 my check engine came on and my RPM was going up to like 5. drop my car to Nissan to have light check out was told that there's wasn't a light on once they pull my car in shop. Again no answer. On August 8 my car was like I had push pedal all way and it was going like 25 mph and RPM was at 4 but the check engine light and airbag light came on. Took my car back to dealership and was told that it was my transmission. Now that my warranty has expired just the end of July 2020 I can receive a diagnostic if problem. But I have been experiencing this things the whole year I have had the vehicle. I see that there are know problem with these transmissions in Rogue. I see where the warranty has been extended for cvt transmission so why that doesn't apply to my vehicle?

I just bought this SUV 4 weeks ago and the A/C isn't working. I see a lot of other Nissan Rogues with the same problem. This is a safety issue since I live in nc and it is 96 outside. I thought I was going to pass out on the way home. Please help me get this issue resolved as I see multiple people have reported this same issue. And I can't shell out thousands of dollars for five years until it's paid off.

My wife and (3) month old great granddaughter experienced a loud boom out of no where I immediately stopped and made sure the baby and my wife were not injured and then I became very angry that the sun roof exploded like this and put my baby life in unnecessary danger. Nissan says-it is not their fault and now want me to file on my insurance a charge more than $2,100. I have 1 question... does everyone riding need to wear safety glasses now?!! this precious baby could have lost her vision and had possible disfigurement. This is a very scary problem.... (help)

Bad ac/heater control. Known issue, Nissan service bulletin #ntb15-045E I purchased a certified pre-owned 2016 Nissan Rogue in 2017 is now winter and the heater has failed. I took in in for oil change and brake work, but when I got it back the heater wasn't working and the dealership doesn't have any clue why. They have replace the control senor but that didn't help. They are now claiming it's the hoses/radiator and some other stuff. My heater failing, and not able to defrost/defog my windshield means that I can't see, and if I get stuck on the road I have to heat to stay warm and alive (I travel for work and can be anywhere in the united state). There are a lot of people with this issue for this year and model and even though Nissan knows about it, they have not made a recall on it.

The heater went out on my Rogue on a very cold morning. It would only blow cold air. This was problematic because of the safety issue in defrosting my windows. I have to drive for work every morning. This greatly concerns mean for the safety of my wife and 3 months daughter. According to research online, this is common problem, but no safety recall has occurred yet. One website states that, Nissan released several technical service bulletins for improper heating/ventilation performance, including incorrect temperature output and/or air delivery location for Nissan Rogues from 2015-17 the most recent ' #ntb17-028 and ntb15-045E, ' indicates certain vehicles equipped with the manual HVAC system might benefit from replacement of the 'front air control unit.'

I recently purchased a 2016 Nissan Rogue S AWD with about 30,034 miles on it. The next day after driving about 75 miles it started jerking and stalling in traffic, and having issues going from park to drive and drive to reverse. On the day after, which is today the vehicle would not shift from park to drive and instead of driving forward while in drive, the vehicle started to roll backwards on our side walk with my 6 year old son and I inside. My fianc and I attempted to get the vehicle to shift gears and we were not successful. It seems as if the cvt transmission failed. I immediately contacted the dealership and they came to pick it up via tow.

My vehicle will lose power out of nowhere when I'm driving causing me to not be able to accelerate above 40mph at 4-5 RPM, the gas peddle does not work you can feel the pull on the car there is no power. I need to take my foot off the gas to not blow my transmission but then I drop to about 20mph and on highways or even side roads this is very dangerous and not always possible. Because this only happens here and there (3 times in the last month) and never predictably, the dealership is saying they cannot fix or do anything to the car without the issue happening there under their supervision. As I stated, this is a known issue and well documented from current and previous Nissan owners and everyone's description of the incidents are identical. There needs to be a recall and this needs to be fixed on all vehicles before someone dies. When my I take it to the dealership it states that my battery was bad then recommend me to change the positive terminal so I say I have bought the battery from the dealership and it is still under warranty so they replace the battery then I agree to change the positive terminal since it was under $100. After change both take it back and drive on the freeway and it happens again and I was able to start my car up and take it back to the dealership and they say the fuse was loosed so they release the car to me and it has stalled at night my my children in it and I have to get help and push my car in kroger parking lot and plan to tow to the dealership in the morning. The next morning it starts up so I drive to my friend house to park it there and wait until Monday to take it back, they then this time want me to change the chaissy control and I have told them that is not the problem. I had enough with them so decide to call corporate to file a complaint and now my car is still at the dealership for over two weeks. ECM change but code still

-car has 56,000 miles -a few times over the past few months, it hesitates when accelerating from a full stop -yesterday, it happened a lot, and several times I even pushed the accelerator to the floor, and nothing happened...then it suddenly revved and shot forward after a few seconds. Terrifying. -I researched and it's a known issue, but today the dealer said they won't do anything because no error codes, etc., are showing up.

Driving the vehicle, the hood of the Nissan Rogue is latched but the actual hood will move (flap) when driving over 45-50 mph. This started the same day the vehicle was purchased but was not able to get it in because of wait time at the location. I have went to the place where the car was purchased at carmax, but they said it was a problem that Nissan informed them about and there was nothing that can be done. Nissan told them that there were many other vehicles that have the same defect because of the way the car was made and the only solution was to tighten the hood to a certain extent according to carmax. After leaving the location and 3 days later the hood of my car is flapping and moving even more than before, I feel like this will evetually lead to another problem because you can actually see the hood moving while driving and the person at the carmax location was aware of how much it was moving during a test drive. I have tried to look up information about the vehicle because I was told it was an ongoing problem, but as of now I have not found anything related to the problem I am having. I do not believe it is safe to drive the vehicle in that state because it could get worse and eventually because of the speed of the highway I drive on (70mph us 1 nc) it could possible affect the latch or something else.

My Nissan Rogue tail gate and window are leaking and my car now is soured, mildewed, and smells like something has died. I need this to be fixed please, it is starting to make me sick when I have to go anywhere. It seems to get worse day by day and it doesn't matter if it is moving or sitting still. From what I can tell it has been happening since I first bought it, Nov. 2016, but it has been constantly raining so it hasn't had the chance to dry. I believe this is why it is just now starting to smell so bad. Please help with this issue.

The car has idling issues and issues with hard vibrations in the front area of the vehicle. The RPM's were adjusted but this did not fix the issue and I was told it is the way the motor sits even though it was not having this issue when I first purchased the vehicle in March of 2018. It does not matter if the vehicle is stationary or moving or if I am turning or where I am driving. This issue persists.

Car only has 63,000 miles on it and the exhaust manifold and sensor in my car went out and my car was properly maintenance like it suppose too. But before then a sensor went out on my car, I never heard of a manifold going out early on any vehicle from any maker not this early and I felt when I bought this car it was already defected. In good faith, I would think the dealer would have check it out before I bought it, apparently not. I bought this car on November 11 and now I'm experiencing problems !

Our 2016 Nissan Rogue was stopped at an intersection at 6:30 a.M. on a city roadway when we heard a loud popping noise and the sound of breaking glass. We opened the cover to the sun roof and the smaller sun roof above the driver and front passenger seats was shattered, but the glass remained intact. We checked the surrounding area and could not find any object that could have struck the vehicle, or people. As seen in the photos, the glass was broken outwards from the car. The weather was clear, and visibility was good.

On the morning of 6/11/2018, while driving on the freeway, I heard a loud 'gun shot' sound. Inspection of my car on the side of the road showed no damage. Driving home from work that night, about 70mph, all of a sudden I heard noise overhead. Looking out my rearview mirror revealed that my sunroof had just shattered and all the cars behind me were being hit with the shards of glass.

When shutting the front passenger door the sunroof exploded. Nissan would not cover it under warranty because they said the sunroof must have previously been damaged. It is on top of the car, nearly impossible to be damaged by any debris from road since it would either hit the windshield or fly over the vehicle, so how was it damaged? not too happy with Nissan since my research led to a website that stated the Rogue was in the top 10 for vehicles with most randomly exploding sunroofs.
