I bought the used car in July 2014. I discovered every time I move the sun visor to cut the sun rays or glare, the visor hits the rear view mirror every time it is moved. It especially is bad when the sun is just above the horizon, I can't adjust the visor so the sun is glaring in my eyes; if I set the visor to cut the sun, then I can't use the mirror because the visor is in the way. I complained to the local Nissan dealer about the problem. The service manager said he checked other 2010 used Sentras on the car lot and discovered the visor also hit the mirror when moved. This appears to a factory production issue.
I'm curious Nissan has not been forced to do a recall to fix the problem. Does anyone know where to register the complaint further to request a recall be initiated? What is the fix for this issue?
