My husband drove this car to work again only because its the only way to get to work and me and our daughter are to terrified to drive it. The car shut down 4 times on the highway as he tried to get to work. He called me once he made it there and said that's it this is way to dangerous we are gonna get killed if we drive this thing anymore.

I heard back from Nissan who told me we can take it to a Nissan dealership and pay for it ourselves to have a diagnostic test and then send it to them. How kind of them, I get to keep paying for this death trap AND the repairs. I am telling everyone I run into not to buy a Nissan and its all over my Facebook.

Once I got home I prayed my husband would make it home I heard a crashing noise. I look outside and here comes my husband careening down our road out of control because the car has lost power again AND there's smoke coming from under the hood. He makes it down our steep road, then up our driveway, jumps out and puts the hood up and we see flames. The battery was on fire.

He got the fire out and we called the Toyota dealership which is where we bought it they knew exactly the "known Nissan Problems" we were talking about. They told us to have it towed to the Nissan dealership and tell them everything. Guess what everyone at Nissan just played dumb and said they had never heard of these issues. My husband said that's pretty interesting considering all you have to do is Google it!

Now we get to wait and see how much this is going to cost and how much Nissan is going to not care that someone can die in this car that just shuts down for unknown reasons as your going at highway speeds. From what I have read even after people have had "fixes" the same problem continues.
