I took my car in for this front coil spring recall only to be told I need my front control arm bushings replaced at a whopping $801. I'm angry and believe that these bad springs probably are the reason my bushings went bad. They said it is because of hitting potholes. I use the bypass to go to work and never hit any pothole with my car and it can't be from hard use of car because I only have 16,700 miles on it for it being a 2009. Car is also garage kept so weather can't be the reason. I use my fathers truck in the winter not my car during winter months. So either the control arm & bushing were faulty when I purchased this car BRAND NEW or the coil springs are some or all of the reason. I am so angry. Take car in for a free recall only to try and be charged $800 dollars for something else .
