Have noticed a popping noise in the front end when you turn the wheels on normal driving.

Versa LX 1.8L V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 89,100 miles

The salesman quoted me a price that was outrageous and when I complained loudly it recanted and advised me that it was covered under the warranty. The car was not that old to have had so many serious problems. Maybe it was defective from the manufacturer.

Versa V4

We bought this car BRAND NEW, and practically from the day we drove it off the lot, this popping noise has continued over and over. Even in driving straight, we hear this continual noise, and it's even worse when you go to make a turn, even slightly or more, it tends to want to slide, even on DRY pavement.

We have had this car in the shop where we bought it, and according to them, they can find nothing wrong with it. It has BEEN IN THE REPAIR SHOP 3 TIMES NOW !!! (August 5th, August 7th, December 4th, all in 2009)

The dealership where we purchased the car, and where it was carried back to each time for checking this problem, seems to make it sound like it is all in OUR head.

Nissan is now sending their "expert" to do a diagnostic testing on it. We'll expect this individual to probably also find nothing, being their make.

A total of 22 days out of the 6 months we've had the car, it has been in the shop for one thing or another..........Read On In The Next Complaint !!!

Thanks
