Rear signal/brake lights stop working even after bulb change

The problem began with the turn signal. When I used the left turn signal, it would rapidly flash, which I knew indicated it was time to replace a bulb. It looked like it was the rear left-hand turn signal bulb (later found the right-hand brake light was also out!). So I disassembled the "Rear Combination Lamp Assembly" and replaced it with a new bulb, and tested that it was working. However, the next time I went to drive, the issue appeared again, exactly as before. I bought another set of fresh bulbs just to be sure and no luck. But, I noticed while I had everything apart, if I jostled the wiring harness to the "Rear Combination Lamp Socket Assembly" the light would work! The issue is specifically the connector, which I believe to be a "211PC069S0049" which you can find on google/mouser.

I was able to take apart the connector and carefully "adjust" the metal contacts so that it would firmly "pinch" the pins on the male side of the connector. It was not a pretty repair and took some time, but has held up and saved me from soldering on a new connector. As a precaution, I filled the connector with dielectric grease and have had no issue, (yet..)
