Just outside the warranty, the GPS system started to fail with disc reading errors. We believe the system was affected by humidity and the system wasn't able to read the disc containing the maps. All we needed was a new disc reader. However, the only part available was a complete new system costing 4500 euros. We bought a Tom Tom which, although it works, is a far cry from the large built in system the car came with. Also the cost of updated maps was going to be 600 euros and even after 4 years no upgraded maps were available!
