problem #3

Alero

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

Sometimes they work, sometimes not. Sometimes they get a little exciting and go crazy and spazz.

problem #2

Alero V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 95,000 miles

The turn-signal clicking sound would randomly come on and stay on, without the actual turn signal being on...it would get slow and speed up spastically...annoying as hell.

There is not recall on the hazard flasher/blinkers switch, but there has been a short in it since we purchased the car. We had a 99 Olds Alero that had the same problem and there was a recall on it. The blinkers will stip working or flash quickly and buzz. The only way to make this dang thing work is to giggle, pound on the dash board or pull the hazard switch off the dash to get the blinkers to work half way decently.. DO NOT BUY THE ALERO's...
