The contact owns a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. While driving 25 mph, the ABS engaged automatically. Shortly after, numerous warning indicators on the instrument panel illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer and they replaced the ABS hydraulic modulator unit. Through online research, the contact discovered NHTSA campaign id number 00V114000 (service brakes, hydraulic:foundation components). The manufacturer stated that her VIN was not included in the recall, although the failures were identical. She believes that her vehicle should be repaired according to the recall. The current and failure mileages were 65,000.
