Intrigue

  • 290,000 miles
The contact owns a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. The contact stated that while driving 70 mph, the sunroof detached damaging the sun roof frame and vehicle. The sunroof was closed at the time of the failure. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The technician diagnosed that the laminated material had deteriorated causing the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. In addition, the contact stated the turning signal lights failed to illuminate intermittently and in order for the lights to resume normal function the hazards light had to be illuminated. The approximate failure mileage was 290,000.

Intrigue

I own a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue and the turn signal lights work intermittently or not at all. The mechanic couldn't find anything wrong with the lights when the car was put on the computer. According to consumer reports, it looks like the same problem occured in the 2000-2001 Oldsmobile Alero. The only way I can get the turn signal lights to work again is by pressing the hazard warning switch twice. Sometimes this will make the turn signal lights work for a few minutes or up to a few weeks. What can I do from here?
