Bonneville 3800

  • Automatic transmission
  • 263,000 miles

I have replaced an arm, tie rods, stabilizer bar, had an alignment, new tires, sway bar, and bushings. Still shaking more than before.

Bonneville LX 4.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

Just thought I'd mention that I did have some vibration in steering a couple years ago and needed tie rod ends replaced. Fairly easily resolved issue. I have not had any serious issue with this car to speak of since I bought it in 07. Served me well. High miles will take toll now probably.

Bonneville SE 3.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 180,000 miles

Vehicle vibrates mainly at slower speeds or when you accelerate. Replaced drive axles and now am told it needs tune up and could possibly be transmission. Other people I know who have had a car like this or knew of someone who did said they all had the same problem and couldn't find a fix for it. Is it a factory flaw or was this just a bad year for the bonneville?
