While driving home my alarm system light blinked on then stayed on. The headlights shut off and turned on. After I parked the car and turned off the engine the theft deterrent system activated and my car would not start for 45 mins. I followed all reset procedures nothing worked. Had to disconnect and reconnect alarm. Now alarm will not work and the trunk/doors open or unlock randomly, radio turns off, lights turn off. Problem has been happening for a few weeks now noone in town knows how to fix.

While driving my vehicle I experienced a loss of power steering and a loss of acceleration while driving on a busy main street I was forced to come to a complete stop. My current speed before loss of power was 45 mpg and immediately dropped to 0 miles as the dashboard read power steering engine disabled. Luckily my emergency lights still worked and I avoided a crash but I do hope that GM resolves this issue and makes a recall as soon as possible to prevent casualties and fatalities.
