G6

  • 50,000 miles
I own a 2005 Pontiac G6, and the problem is with the brake switch. The brake lights come on even when I'm not stepping on the brake pedal. This happens on a regular basis, that I can see the reflection of my brake lights coming on while I'm driving.

I have a faulty brakelight switch on my 2005 Pontiac G6...that's what I was told. The lights function just the opposite as they were designed. My brakelights are on when I'm moving [driving] and they go off when I hit my brakes. I went online to research and found others complaining of the same problem all G6 owners. I believe this could lead to fatal and serious injuries. Thank you for your time. At this time I am still waiting for the dealer to respond back if this is/was a recall.
