  • 45,000 miles
The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac G6. While the contact was driving approximately between 45 to 50 mph; the "power steering" warning indicator illuminated, followed by a loss of power steering. The contact continued to drive with excessive force applied to the steering wheel. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the power steering motor was replaced. Recently, the engine rpms increased excessively and exhibited extremely low engine power. The vehicle was diagnosed by the dealer in which the failure was related to the catalytic converter; however, the part was on back order. The repair will be covered under the warranty. The failure mileage was 45,000. The VIN was unavailable.
