Since 1000 miles I have had what sounds like an engine knock when vehicle is cold, and lasts until vehicle is at operating temp. Dealership says "nothing abnormal"...a common trait of the GM dealership, last I knew Piston slap was supposed to be a thing of the past, but looks like I'm lucky enough to be experiencing it in a 2008
