SEVERAL RECALLS ON THIS EXACT PROBLEM WITH MODELS 2006-2009 AND HAVE RECALLS AND THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON 2010 BEFORE SOMEONE IS SERIOUSLY HURT OR KILLED. LUCKILY WHEN IT WENT OUT MY FAMILY WAS IN TOWN AND COULD SAFELY GET STOPPED AND OUT OF WAY OF TRAFFIC.

problem #1

Feb 192015

G6 Sedan 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 105,000 miles

Driving at a speed of 35 MPH ON 2/19/2015 and the steering just went off and was hard to steer. CHECK POWER STEERING SERVICE ESC and the ESC off indicator came on (the warning came at the same time so that was a worthless warning) and had to re-set by turning the car off. It happens again GOING 45 MPH on 2/23/2015. (three year old grandaugther was in the car, she will not be now!) When it did happen it was nearly impossible to steer.

I see where GM has recalled up to the year 2009 but not beyond that. What's up GM?? I have been a GM owner most of my life but if GM does not own up to this problem I will not be buying another GM product. I purchased this car brand new. Estimated cost to repair this problem is between $800.00 to $1200.00.

GM RECALL IT NOW BEFORE SOMEONE GET HURT OR KILLED!!!!!

I be trading in for a HONDA (who would ever think I would even think about this) if GM does not step up!!!!
