There is a service bulletin on the spark plug wire failure for the 3.8 L engine (99057 - firebird) it cost me $183 dollars to have them replaced. Pontiac told me the factory determines the cars the bulletin aplies to, doesn't seem fair to me. We've had a problem with our air conditiioner cutting off since the car was new. They say they can't replicate the problem. Bulletin says they have this problem on other cars with the same engine(63-83-15 - Bonneville - 3.8 L) eventially I guess it will be out of warrenty and I'll have to pay for that also.
