The car had been setting for 10 days or so, when I tried to start it I heard a loud bang and I saw smoke. The intake manifold exploded and caught the engine on fire. My wife called 911 but I got the fire put out before the firemen got here.

After running for a period of time vehicle will not restart; happened 3 different times in hot weather in past 4 months and will restart after sevearl hours on it's own. Pontiac dealers cannot "recreate " problem therefore, will not check why no fuel is getting to injectors. When roadside assist came they checked injections and was getting no fuel towed three times. I paid to check fuel lines and change fuel filter and battery which fuel filter did not have to be changed. Nor did the battery need to be changed.
