Grand Prix SE 3.1L

  • 180,000 miles

Basically like the other ABS complaints. The ABS light is on and the traction control turns off when I slow down to make a slow turn to the left. This problem started about 2 weeks ago. I do not feel safe driving the car. Any recommendations where to start looking for the problem?

Grand Prix GTP 3.8L V6 S/C

  • 101,000 miles

Went to a dealer to check it out... they wanted $1300 for the new ABS module and $300 to install. Needless to say, I left. I'll probably end up buying a used module from a wrecker and take it to Master Mechanic to install. The car seems totally driveable with the module not working though - hopefully I won't need to stop quickly in the next couple of weeks.

every day I drive the abs light comes after driving for few minutes the light goes off. checked for codes had c0550, c0244 and dont know a lot about what they mean. i checked online and could not find anything.
