The contact owns a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix. After being parked for ten minutes, the vehicle was found smoking and engulfed in flames. The fire department extinguished the fire and a report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. NHTSA campaign id number 07E021000 (fuel system, other:storage:tank assembly: Pressure relief devices) was referenced. The contact just recently learned of the safety recall; however, she never received a notice. The powertrain was unknown. The current and failure mileages were 100,000.
