problem #1

Grand Prix 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 130,000 miles

So car runs good but sometimes it does not start unless I press the accelerator when it is turning over or I have to try it a couple of times and then it starts. Everything in the car comes on like normal and the car acts like it is going to start but does not. I have taken it to my mechanic numerous times for this and they could not get it to duplicate and it has never had any codes pop up. (figures) It is starting to happen more frequently now. I recently moved and took it to a new mechanic and it happened when he tried to start it. I searched this problem on the internet and tons of Grand Prix owners are having the same problem.
