When I bought the car, it was not sold with a key fob. After I purchased it for approximately $125, I noticed it worked about 1/2 the time. I took it to the dealer. He clicked the fob from a distance away, the lights flashed and he said it was working. At that moment in time, it was. THIS IS THE HONEST TRUTH, I SWEAR ON A STACK OF CAR AND DRIVER MAGAZINES!!! I finally discovered that if the driver door became too warm, the fob didn't work. It took a while, but I noticed the fob would work at lunchtime, but not after work. I also noticed at home, it worked in the morning, but not later in the day. I finally figured out that when the door became too warm, the fob didn't work. Once again, not a joke. I've verified it many times!
