1500 Tradsmen 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

Come on Ram! Simple technology should not break. But at least the warranty fixed it. The issue is that this will reoccur due to Ram replacing the parts with the exact same material which will break again.

1500 Bighorn 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 57,000 miles

The "ticking" noise, after cold engine start up, got worse and became extremely embarrassing in public. The problem was initially reported while still under warranty and was told they would charge me $175 diagnosis fee to check it. I didn't have the spare cash at the time...but remember thinking that if I am reporting an issue with a vehicle still covered under warranty, why is there a "diagnosis fee"?

So, inevitably, the warranty expired, forcing me to spend MORE money to replace the broken exhaust manifold bolts.
